Witnessing to a Group

Saturday, May 2nd, 2009

Joe on his skateboardNow the evenings are getting lighter and warmer, there are more young people out on Friday nights, and witnessing is easier. Last night I spent the evening with a group of lads at the skateboard park. We spent a while chatting about their skateboards and then shared the Law and the Gospel with them.

They were so interested and hung on our every word. They have been so let down by so called Christians who say that Christianity is all about love and forgiveness without showing them the Law and how it affects them, and it has confused them. They think they’re all right and going to heaven and don’t even have a concern about the fact that they may be going to hell.

The Ten Commandments in Schools

Saturday, May 2nd, 2009

This week has been a real blessing.

Trinitarian Bible SocietyThe Trinitarian Bible Society are sending me 20 free copies of the Bible to give out as I witness and we now have 1000 copies of ‘Finding God’s Way’ that we can give out too.

But what is most exciting is how God is beginning to move Christians, across our nation, to get back to sharing the law and the Ten Commandments as well as the gospel.

While I was talking with Anne Newman, at the TBS, I was telling her about how I have the opportunity to go into the local senior school on the 11th May, to share about the film and to share the Law and Gospel. She explained to me about their work at the moment. Anne Newman said,

“…we are currently mailing all the junior schools in these islands (takes several years, we write to 100 a week) offering the Ten Commandment Text Card, Bookmark and Poster and then offer Bibles as well if they are interested..”

It is really exciting to know that God is moving Christians across this land to share again the importance of the Ten Commandments, God’s Law.

If you have genuine contact with schools and want to have access to these free materials to give out then please contact me and I will pass your details on to Anne Newman of TBS.

Have a great day,
